In the short period since touching a set of decks for the first time in January, Jacob moved quickly in developing his skills and after only 2 months on the decks of was booked to play at the notorious ‘KClub’ party at the Ruby Tramp under his alter-moniker of ‘Splice’. Having supported legendary international underground House and Electro acts such as Noob and Matt Walsh (Turbo Records), Trevor Loveys (Switch) and Dan Sena (Dimmak), he is no stranger to the scene.

Alongside fellow Bondies Simon O’Keefe and Tom Webster, Jacob also runs the popular local alternative music blog http://www.gypsycollective.com/ , which posts the best in current Disco, New Wave and House tunes. Jacob will offer something different to the standard commercial slop you are sick of hearing every time you go out on the Gold Coast, but he also has a few surprise guaranteed party starters up his sleeve that are sure to get the dancefloor dripping with sweat. So put on your Disco Shoes and get down to Dons on Thursday of Week 4 (10th June) to catch the local up and comer do his thing!
