The Jewish Student Association was formed to fill in the need of a Jewish forum for Bond students. Many students come from abroad and cannot go home to celebrate and observe the Jewish holidays they typically do at home with family.

At Bond the JSC is to help bring together Jews of all backgrounds and celebrate together the holidays and Shabbat.  For the September semester the goal is to hold an event for Yom Kippur and a Shabbat and from the success of those events host a Shabbat, Passover event in the January semester.

The Jewish Student Association has also formed a relationship with the Gold Coast Hebrew Congregation located in Surfers Paradise which can facilitate prayers for Shabbat and the High Holidays.
