High Degree Research (HDR) Academic Club emphasises the term academy as a professional group and is meant for all high degree research students at Bond University including Master by Research or Law, the Doctor of Legal Science and PhD students.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the club is to increase the research outcomes and maintain quality in a unique, academic and enjoyable environment through various activities. Through research community individual high research students are encouraged now to collaborate, work and meet their colleagues across whole university. It is supported by BUHDRC to be considered highly important and in priority of Bond University strategy.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Raising the research culture here at Bond by bringing research issues to the forefront discussion in the relevant committees. Some of these issues include process documentation, context of research awareness, and positive coordination and collaboration amongst research students and academic staff across faculties.
- Coordinating social interaction among research students across faculty by organising events such as cultural programs, research getaways, field trips etc.
- Ensuring that there is a greater dissemination of information with regards to research life and encountered challenges at Bond and to pass the concerns to Bond University High Degree Research Committees (BUHDRC).
- Improving the research community by advertising HDR Academic Club activities. Various contributions will bring a range of important and valuable perspectives to the research committees
- Student portfolio and their contributions will be recognized by deploying various available media such as i-learn, bulletin, student portal, magazines and TV.
