Tutor Fellows
Resident Tutor Fellows are on hand to provide academic support to students living on Res. They are currently enrolled students with high grades and are available for one-on-one consultations.
They are here to help you with the subject content or some useful learning strategies. They offer assistance with the following matters in regard to writing of assignments:
Plagiarism rules; Structure and logical order; Grammar, language and expression; Spelling; Footnotes and quotations; Adequacy of research evidenced by the paper; Presentation, such as headings etc; Readability; and Expression of thesis, aim or proposition.
They cannot assist you with substance or content of your paper.
You may book for 30 minute appointment per week. You cannot book a tutor for the whole semester. S/he needs to be available to all Res students; however, you might be able to get help with more than just one assignment if s/he is free.
Appointments can be made up until Saturday, Week 12. Out of courtesy to Res Tutor Fellows and other fellow Res students, please make sure that you provide at least 24 hour notice should you be unable to attend your appointment.
