Bond Christian Connection

Bond Christian Connection (BCC) is a non-denominational Christian group that seeks to provide spiritual support for students. Our aim is to give hope, faith & vision to the Bond Campus. We have a simple motto: connecting people with God; and connecting people with people.

We unite all believers of the same faith, stand firm on the foundation of Jesus Christ and provide ways for students to represent their faith and the gospel. We also encourage fellow Christians to realise their potential and use the gifts and talents God has bestowed upon them.

Our aim is to provide a fellowship in which members can share and discuss their experiences, at the same time equipping and strengthening them in their Christian walk. We meet weekly on Monday nights and present a series of life skills workshops which explores the practical aspect of Christianity whilst being grounded on the Word of God. These sessions are interspersed with Chill Out Nights as a break from assignments and exams.

Each semester kicks off with Rec Crawl (an alcohol-free alternative to Pub Crawl); held on Friday of week 1. This is an opportunity to race around the Gold Coast, meeting new friends and chasing the natural high. For 093, we are going Barefoot Bowls and Timezone.

Every semester we also have a weekend retreat; a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of uni life. This semester we will be staying at Triumphant Life Fellowship in the panoramic Mt Tambourine.

BCC is dedicated in building meaningful relationships and spiritual networks. It is able to assist in connecting members to local churches and offers pastoral care. Our ultimate goal is to act as a catalyst in building God's kingdom and the local church. We are a community whose focus broadens beyond the barriers of the Bond University grounds.
